Strollers...

Ok, I am sooo confused about strollers its unbelievable. I've gotten such good advice about strollers from friends and family and I've narrowed it down some, but holy cow, I need help. Here's what I've figured out so far:

1. I do not want a travel system because we live in the middle of Philadelphia and almost NEVER drive...even the grocery store is a few blocks away and we walk there. Also, a travel system would require a "big kid" car seat just a few months after Aiden is born. We dont have much room in our apartment at all, so a big, bulky travel system doesnt seem like the best option, not to mention questionable maneuverability on crowded sidewalks. (If we lived in the suburbs, I'd be all about the travel system.)

2. My cousin who lives in Boston (and walks most places as well) offered her snap and go, we just need to purchase an infant car seat. Then around 3 mos they bought a Maclaren stroller. The Maclaren is super popular, very lightweight and carries up to a 55 lb child. Not to mention the super maneuverability and compact folding size are pluses in city living. However, this option still requires the "big kid" car seat.

3. My other cousin highly recommends the Peg Perego Uno stroller which is a combination pram/toddler convertible stroller. This model is highly rated and similar to the bugaboo, but slightly less expensive. It also has the boot cover, perfect for a winter baby. I think we would just get the Britax car seat which has the best safety rating and holds kids 5-65 lbs. The only two downsides are no infant carrier (bad when there are tight spaces like restaurants) and the cost.

I think I'm leaning towards option #2...but any thoughts are welcome. Whew...is it Friday yet?!
