Since being back in school for the last year and on a very tight budget thanks to student loans, I've given up my ebay habit. Now let me just say, I love ebay because although I'm not a "go to the mall and blow alot of $$" kinda girl, I love getting a bargin (see earlier post re. coupons.com). I also have pretty good self control and only buy things I really need (usually), but I refuse to pay full price on anything. Well, the ebay bug has bitten me HARD again! This spring my husband's house burnt down. I mean 3 alarm, lost everything but the clothes on his back, burnt down. Thankfully everyone was ok and we were moving in together a week later anyway, so things have turned out fine. However, I happened to have my new backpack (and all my make up...!) at his house that night. School was over for the summer, so no big deal...but classes start in a few weeks and I realized its time to suck it up and buy a new one. I have no problem paying a little more for a bag that will last several years (my previous...not the burned up one...backpack lasted for 9 years, 2 trips to europe and countless other adventures). I really loved my new backpack and was dying to replace it with the same one, but at $50, it was hard to justify... I know that's pretty standard cause I did all kinds of internet research for price comparison... but still.
Enter EBAY. I just won the same backpack, brand new and in PURPLE!!! for $33 with shipping!! WAHOO!!!
Now keep your fingers crossed for the NWT Old Navy Maternity Jean skirt I'm bidding on, for $5.00 :)
ohh and this hot number (also on Ebay) for my upcoming birthday (hint hint ;)
