I'm back at work and (sorta) refreshed from the weekend. On Friday when I got home my soon to be Dr. husband did a quick exam of my eyes and confirmed with as much certainty as you can with out blood work that I'm def a little anemic. So it was burgers on Friday and lean chili with tons of kidney beans on Saturday. I'm feeling much better!
Saturday Mr. F was on call at the hospital so I did all kinds of housework from laundry to the bathrooms, vacuuming and grocery shopping. I even tried out a new recipe for chili in my crockpot..which by the way is the most amazing invention, especially when its too hot to turn on the stove or oven. I'm realizing I'm quickly turning into a mom/wife domestic diva as I was so happy to get chores done that would have killed me as a kid! I am quickly having a whole new appreciation for my mom and dad and why Saturdays were such great chore days:)
Saturday night was lots of fun since I had a few ladies over for a girls night which included chick flicks, chocolate, chili and ice cream. This was the first time I had friends over since moving in and getting settled into our apartment and it as a BLAST! I actually had wine glasses for my friends to use and real plate... I felt like such a grown up hostess capable of entertaining. It was wonderful :) After the girls left, Mr. F and I went out to a birthday party for some friends, many of whom havent seen me or the baby bump since I really started showing. It was so much fun having them want to feel Aiden kicking...not to mention they are all med students, so they really get a kick out of it... I'm like a walking case study! :) The only bummer was getting locked out of our apartment at 2am. Our landlord is a cheap so and so and charged us $40 to get the key from the office and unlock our door. Did I mention he lives in the building?!
Anyway, Sunday was so wonderful because not only did Mr. F have a surprise day off (we found out on Saturday evening!) but there was an amazing thunderstorm that cooled everything off and I'm definitely ready for some Fall weather! Mr. F. also treated me to some delicious omelettes, the man cant cook much, he does omelettes pretty darn well!
So here I am, back at work, researching and playing online. Happy Monday everyone!

It sounds like the nesting has already started kicking in! I know when I was pregnant with LC, one night I just all of a sudden decided we were going to paint below the chair rail RIGHT NOW. Not tomorrow, not in the future, but NOW!
