This weekend was awesome and well deserved if I may say so. My day off on Friday was fab and I found the most delicious Baskin Robbins oreo cookie ice cream and devils food cake. HOT DAMN it was good and there are leftovers in the freezer = dangerous to my hips! We had a great visit with my family complete with good food and beautiful weather. Aidan had so much fun with his uncle and my parents...he's been asking for them multiple times a day since they left! Dr. F and I even got to go on a date for my birthday and we had so much fun. He happened to have a gift card to this fantastic (and pricey, so we'd never go there on our own) restaurant. It was AMAZING. Three words: King Crab Tempura. I also looked super hot with my hair not in a bun and some sexy red birthday shoes.On Sunday we had a great time with a backyard BBQ despite the rain. The best part was that it was a mixture of my friends and Dr. F's friends and everyone got along. I had quite a great birthday weekend that yesterday (the real day) was actually a bit of a let down. After all the fun we had it was hard to be back at work, taking care of a screaming child and having Dr. F on call. Oh well, it was good while it lasted :)
