Glad to have Monday (almost) out of the way
Hellllooo. Its Monday and we're back at it and I'm glad we're almost done with Monday. Truthfully, I'm glad the weekend is done and a brand new one is coming in a few short days. This weekend was supposed to be glorious with Dr. F's day off on Saturday. Well, let me tell you how awesome it was to have him throwing up and having a fever on Saturday with the fever hanging on until yesterday. It just got more awesome when my car wouldnt start. We were able to get a jump from the neighbors and crossed our fingers hoping it would start this morning. Early this morning around 1:30am I woke up with a migraine. Again, awesome. Some Excedrine Mirgaine and a glass of water later I passed back out. The fun continued this morning when just as I finally got the Little Man buckled in and I was sweating profusely in my suit, did I find out my car wouldnt start again. SHIT. Oh, and that migraine is still holding on at 1:30 this afternoon. Dr. F still wasnt home from the hospital and I now had to decide if I was going to call in sick, take a personal day or go in half day when he got home. As I was loosing my cool, literally and figuratively, trying to look up my coworkers' numbers to give them a heads up, Dr. F, my knight, turned up 10 min before my train arrived saying he would take the Little Man to daycare and would take care of the car. Keep in mind the man just worked overnight in the ICU and got 1 hr of sleep. Yet he was calm and took charge and just as I was getting to work sent me a text telling me to calm down and my day would get better and that he loved me. At this point I finally took a deep breath. By 9:30 he texted to say he got a new battery for the car and that its running just fine. Despite the crummy start to my day and the migraine that just wont leave, I know I am a lucky lucky girl...and tomorrow can only get better, right?!

Your only option is DEFINITELY up! And way to go, Dr. F! That's impressive:)
UGH. The car not starting is the WORST. Ask for a AAA membership for Christmas--it's the BEST. Next time I see you I will tell you how they saved our a** over Memorial Day weekend (on Sunday no less), 150 miles from home when the clutch just decided to stop working.
You can always call me if you're in a pinch! We're not that far away, and we Virginians have to stick together! xo & hope you're feeling better now!
