Let me tell you, I would not wish this bug on my worst enemy, but things are starting to get better, I even managed some gatorade and chicken noodle soup today. What is it about campbells chicken noodle soup that is so perfect for sick days?! Well, you can guess I didn't go to work today and instead took it easy and even got some ironing and laundry done while watching the Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. I am such a huge fan of those movies!! :)
I've also been doing some research on potty training because we've gotten some pretty definite confirmation that the Little Man is READY! (Anthony's cousin is a neonatologist whom we constantly consult... I swear I am the only one in the family who isnt a doctor!) So I'm researching potty chairs and ordered Elmo's Potty Time dvd. We are open to any suggestions about how to go about this process!
Anyway, at least today is Wed. We're half way there and lest I eat my words again, this weekend has to be better than last, right?

We love the kind of seat that goes on top of the real potty (does that make sense?). It has Elmo and Sesame Street characters on it. I didn't like our "mini" potties because...ICK. Cleaning poop/pee out? ICK, ICK, ICK!
We went cold turkey on Miss Punk. Just switched to panties one day (and dresses only). We also packed her full of liquid, and made her try once/hour AT LEAST. Now she's like me and is an epic holder...not always awesome, but at least there are no accidents!
We didn't necessarily always do a prize/treat at the end, but after she'd made it for a whole week at school, she did get to go pick something out at Target. We only used pull ups at night--and that was really only because I was so anti-getting up in the middle of the night to change wet sheets.
