SAHM

SAHM, thats right, STAY AT HOME MOM. Today is my last day of work and I'm soooooo excited! I've learned so much this summer at my internship and its given me a little boost for my resume and paid for daycare and our Netflix subscription for the summer. But it has also made me realize how much I miss the Little Man all day and how crazy our lives are and how messy our apartment is when both of us are working full time. We are all so excited to have a bit more calm in our lives, especially as we're heading full on into interview season for residency. Mr. F is one heck of a lucky man because he'll have a secretary with extensive experience scheduling his interviews, arranging his travel, and putting together briefings on programs for his interviews.

I'm also pretty damn excited to cook more, join a mommy and me play group and travel to see the grandparents more (and of course spend some time down in Richmond ;) The next 8-9 months in our house are going to be C.R.A.Z.Y. enough with 4 weddings, interviews, the holidays, Aidan's first birthday, 2 graduations, all finished off with a move (to where, we wont know until March...) So I'm going to take this opportunity to create some calm in the middle of the storm. Just call me June ;)

Yay! Happy last day! I'm so envious! Don't tease me with ploys re: coming to Richmond unless I can really count on y'all to show up :0) I'm a major nerd, too, and I put your wedding in C'ville on my calendar. Wow.

Jenna,
I really respect your decision and think it's awesome that you're willing to put your career plans on hold to raise your to son and create a peaceful home. What a hard decision! I'm praying God will bless your family and use this time for you to grow closer to each other!
