This morning on the Today Show there was a segment about a 72 year old woman who was tasered during a routine traffic stop. All I could think was that this was going to be another case of police bashing, something I'm pretty against living in Philly and knowing just how dangerous their jobs are. Well, I am pleased to say they didn't pull any punches when they interviewed this woman. I don't care how old you are, when you behave like this woman did and the officer did everything by the book, you deserve to be tased. The worst part is, the woman sued the county and won $40,000! The judge's reasoning was that it would be more expensive to defend the case then to just pay the woman. AND THIS IS THE WHAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICA.
